Our Dear friend Anais Blondet has directed, shot and edited this video for Peruvian singer Pamela Rodríguez. It seems that these two artists are both equally into making music and are deep into the visual arts as well.
I am really glad I came across this video and be able to see Anais style, a style that keeps evolving as she keeps collaborating with other musicians. Another great thing about this video, is that it now feels like I also know Pamela: I can see that she is a fun lady and that together with Anais they made great work, and shared the same sense of humor. Congratulations girls, and now looking forward to a music collaboration between you two.

Name Carsten Höller: ExperienceLocation New Museum, New YorkInfo Exhibition runs through January 15, 2012
Over the past twenty years, Carsten Höller has created a world that is equal parts laboratory and test site, exploring such themes as childhood, love, the future, and doubt. Höller left his early career as a scientist in 1993 to devote himself exclusively to art making, and his work is often reminiscent of research experiments. His pieces are designed to explore the limits of human sensorial perception and logic through carefully controlled participatory experiences.

I have a vivid sound memory of my neighbor growing up... He would start sweeping at 5.30 AM accompanied by the wet morning mist that would early go away, a house dog would bark, and the street dogs: the kind of dogs that bark but don’t bite, would bark back. The newspaper delivery motorcycle would break the silence. And the birds would soon start to sing-
Can’t sleep thinking about how great those brooms and cleaning supplies are going to sound all together at Zuccotti Park.

Manifesto del Futurismo, Carmelo Bene
We want to sing the love of danger, the habit of energy and fearlessness.
The courage, audacity, and revolt will be essential elements of our poetry.
We want to exalt the aggressive movement, feverish insomnia, the running pace, the mortal leap, the punch and the slap.
We affirm that the world’s magnificence has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. A racing car whose hood is adorned with great tubes like serpents with explosive breath … a roaring car that seems to ride on grapeshot is more beautiful than the Victory of Samothrace.
We want to celebrate the man who holds the steering wheel, whose ideal pole across the Earth, launched a race, it also, on the circuit of its orbit.
The poet must be extravagant with ardor, splendor, and generosity, to increase the fervor of the primordial elements.
There is no beauty in the struggle. No work without an aggressive character can be a masterpiece.
Poetry must be conceived as a violent attack on unknown forces, to reduce and prostrate them before man.
We are on the extreme promontory of the centuries! … Why should we look back, if we break down the mysterious doors of the impossible? Time and Space died yesterday. We already live in, since we have already created eternal, omnipresent speed.
